Seen through the eyes of the royal city London, Alaric’s repetitive harlequin like faces enthrall and unravel multiple narratives of identity and servitude. 

Using the generic image of a model's face as a starting point, Alaric has produced a series of beguiling images that are at once seductive, desirable, beautiful and strange. Symbols of imperial rule and monarchy are refined to form a new vocabulary hand painted over the original face. Each image is unique yet resembles the next unfolding like a pack of cards, they can be viewed individually, as pairs, in sets or in multiple arrangements.
