Seen through the eyes of the royal city of London, Alaric’s repetitive harlequin like faces unravel multiple narratives of identity and servitude.

Using the generic image of a models face as a starting point, Alaric has produced a series of beguiling images that are at once seductive, desirable, beautiful and strange.Symbols of imperial rule and monarchy are refined to form a new vocabulary, each image is unique yet resembles the next. Unfolding like a pack of cards, they can be viewed individually, as pairs, in sets or in multiple arrangements.

There will be a series of editions of these iconic images.
